— The holiday season is officially underway, and the Hammond Rotary Club is excited to announce the 68th Annual Christmas Parade, set to take place Saturday, December 5, at 6:00 p.m. in Downtown Hammond.

A beloved Hammond tradition for nearly seven decades, the Christmas Parade will bring the community together for an evening filled with Christmas lights, festive floats, marching clubs, high school bands and plenty of holiday spirit.

Spectators of all ages are invited to line the streets of Downtown Hammond as the parade makes its way through the city, creating memories and kicking off the Christmas season in true Hammond fashion.

Businesses, organizations, civic groups, schools, auto clubs and other community groups are encouraged to participate. Whether you want to create a spectacular Christmas float, decorate a vehicle or march alongside your organization, there is a place for you in the parade!
