Rotaract is an international organization of young professionals and students ages 18 to 30 that are committed to service and leadership in their communities and abroad. Established in 1968 by Rotary International, Rotaract is a global network of young people who are changing the world with clubs in over 170 countries.
Rotaract clubs meet twice a month to exchange ideas, plan activities and projects, and socialize. While Rotary clubs serve as sponsors, Rotaract clubs decide how to organize and run their club and what projects and activities to carry out.
We are looking for young people in the Hammond area who are interested in community service and professional networking. Rotaract is a tremendous growth opportunity for them and an asset to our community.
As a Rotaractor you can:
- Volunteer locally and internationally
- Build career contacts
- Develop leadership skills
- Network with service-minded people worldwide
- Make new friends and have fun!
