The Hammond Rotary Shamrock Run 2021 is on Saturday March 13, 2021 at a new venue - the Louisiana Renaissance Fairgrounds in Hammond, LA. The race includes the following events: 5K, 10K, 1 Mile, Virtual 5K, and Virtual 10K. Virtual runners may start at their own convenience and log in their times on the website beginning on Feb 27th. All registrants are welcome at the event.

The 5k/10k portions of the race will begin inside the gates of the renaissance festival, then circle the outside fence through a wooded area and then end near the Queens stage with the 10Kers making a 2nd loop. The one mile runners will take two scenic loops around the lake. What a beautiful race this will be!

For those of you who prefer to stay close to home - sign up for the virtual event! Run it the same day as the event or you could set a goal with friends to run / walk 10Ks over the period of two weeks. You may login online and track your progress.

As you know, this is a charity run. All proceeds will go directly to non profits in our area. If you would like to contribute - you or your business can start a fundraising team. Prizes will be awarded to the biggest fundraisers and you can track your ranking online.

The afterparty will be a little bit differing this year as we take precautions for everyone's safety but it will still be great fun! Social distancing is easily attainable.

Thank you again to Louisiana's 1st Choice Auto Auction for your continued support over the last decade and being our presenting sponsor for this years race.
